As per 2023, membership fees are, per calender year:
Full-time / Affiliated Local or International member : DKK 750
Part-time / Affiliated Local member : DKK 400
Associated member : DKK 750
Retired member : DKK 400
Membership of the Danish association is divided in to national and International memberships.
We accept members as Danish, local members (social affiliates – local) of Dansk Hotel-Portier Forening. If you work on the Reception or in the Front Office of a hotel in Denmark you can become a member. Being an affiliated member does not qualify as a member of Les Clefs d’Or but only as a member of the Danish association.
Both full-time and part-time Front Office staff can join the association.
Former members, who are no longer working in hotels or Front Office, but still with an affiliation to the hospitality industry, can become associated (social affiliates – associated) members.
Members who have been International or affiliated members, and who are retired, can attain their memberships as retired members.
In order to become an International member of Les Clefs d’Or there are certain requirements that must be met.
These include, but are not limited to, working in a position as a hotel Concierge and having done so for a minimum of two years, provide letters of reference and recommendations and be introduced by an existing International, local member. The requirements are listed in the International UICH statutes, article IV. If deemed fit, applicants must complete a written exam and interview as well.
